Oakpark Alarms experienced surveyors will design the system to ensure your insurance requirements are met.  Understanding these needs we can offer a full range of systems based on leading edge technology and solutions.  We are Agents for a number of manufacturers giving us a full range of systems to suit an application.  Protecting people and property from fire is of primary importance to any business.  This can be achieved in many ways depending on the building make up whether new build or retro fit. 

Fire Alarms   

We can offer full design, supply, installation, and commissioning and maintenance services.  All of these modules of work can be certified in line with the requirements of BS 5839. 

Conventional systems can be installed as standard or two wire to suit the application.  Designed for the smaller type of building, this will be as effective as any system in doing the job of protecting property and life.

Addressable systems for the larger building.  Designed in house by our qualified and highly experienced surveyors.  The system will be in accordance to your insurance stipulations and then installed, commissioned and maintained by our qualified and trained engineers.

Wireless/Radio Fire Alarms

We can offer Wireless/Radio Frequency systems and with full RF surveys prior to installation we can guarantee no signal strength issues on installation.  Having installed systems into schools, listed buildings, HMO's to name but a few.  We only use Radio equipment of the highest quality to ensure peace of mind.     

Emergency Lighting

Our qualified Surveyors will design and our qualified Electricians will install the Emergency Lighting you require in your building to comply to British Standards and Fire Regulations.

Public Address/Voice Alarm (P.A. /V.A.) Systems

In larger buildings these have become a standard, working in conjunction with the Fire Alarm System.  A PA/VA system not only conveys vital information in an emergency, such as 'evacuatate','bomb alert','test', but also provides business with an effective means of day to day communications.  All complying to BS 5839 Part 8 (Design and Installation of Voice Alarm Systems).

Service and Maintenance

Fire alarm maintenance must be carried out periodically to suit the requirements of the customer, but is also a Legal Fire Regulation. Additionally Oakpark Alarms can cover the obligation of the customer to carry out weekly system testing. Alarm maintenance works are carried out in accordance with BS 5839.

Fire Training

We can advise and offer Fire Training, Fire Extinguisher Training and Fire Warden and Marshall Courses.  

Building Fire Risk Assessments

All buildings regardless of their size, by law, require a Building Fire Risk Assessment.  Upon a thorough survey of your building we will produce a comprehensive document highlighting the fire risks, the people at risk, an evaluation of how to remove or reduce the risk to property and people, ensure you have your records, plans and training in place and ensure you review the information regularly in case of change.
